Mukisa Coffee is a business. But not just any business. It’s a mission driven business, set up to bring speciality-grade coffee from our region of Eastern Uganda, directly to your cup.

Owing to an ideal climate (for coffee – a bit too hot and rainy for humans) and impossibly fertile, volcanic soil, the region is home to some of the highest quality coffee in the world, and the taste is unbelievable – as you’ll soon find out.

So what about the mission? Well, put simply our mission is to deliver the best possible coffee to you in the most sustainable, transparent and fair way possible, for all involved.

That means:

• Making sure our farmers are getting paid way above Fair Trade prices. With bonuses given for quality of their beans. Nice.
• Providing training to more and more farmers as we grow. More business for them, more great coffee for us.
• Reinvesting 100% profits back into The Uganda School Project. More schools, more classrooms and more teacher training.
• Sustainable processing, sustainable packaging. The bags you’ll get our fully recyclable/compostable.
• Nothing goes to waste.
